We went into the city centre today. Man it was so busy. I guess I always thought Amsterdam would be a chilled out place but it’s like a street party or something here. I think with it being Saturday and the weather being nice probably made it a bit more chaotic.
It’s pretty easy to get lost in here because all the streets have to fit around all the canals. And there’s lots of canals. I think I spent most of the time here walking around not knowing where I was. We checked out this cool market called Waterlooplein it was really worth a look.
When you order coffee here don’t expect a big cup. For some reason all the cups here are miniature. I’ve yet to see a mug. What you actually think is a cheap coffee is a really small average one.
