German Gypsies

I cycled through Magdeburg yesterday. It was quite nice and a pretty big city. Didn’t really feel like looking around though so I left pretty quickly. Last night I thought I found a really good campsite but turned out it was full of bee hives. So I stayed at a legal ‘camp site’ for a change. It looked alright at first but the guy wanted me to pay 25 Euros and I was like nuh-uh. He didn’t speak any English. I managed to only pay 11 after a lot of haggling in a language I don’t know very well (I did the old trick of taking a tenner out my wallet and pretended that was all I had). The showers were super rank. So anyway I pitched up and went to bed and then all I can hear is BOOM BOOM BOOM this really pishy music really loud all night. They even play English music and pretend to sing along but they don’t know the words! They were having like a full blown party and all the other campers didn’t even care. So glad I brought earplugs or I wouldn’t have slept.
