My last day in Prague. Last night I went out for dinner and had roast bunny rabbit in sauce – it was awesome. It cost around £7 and was the most expensive thing on the menu. After I went to see a jazz band play in the ‘Jazz Club’ and they were good but the drinks were expensive. I had the impression this is more of a city you have a stag night and get plastered than see around the sights (it is). However every time I’m in the city centre I have to think again from the overwhelming sea of international tourists.
I had another wonderful breakfast buffet today at the hostel Sir Toby’s (frankly it was the best thing about Prague) and went up to see the Castle on the hill. Whilst admiring the view of the city I was treated to some of the best buskers I’ve ever heard, playing the violin, double bass, accordion and flute in the courtyard. The castle’s Cathedral wasn’t as spectacular as The Church of our Lady inside but it was pretty cool outside. When it rains water pours out the goblin’s mouths.
