A Job in 24 hours

Well a job of sorts. Owen took me to where he had been volunteering today – The Dutch Electronic Arts Feastival, or DEAF – as it turns out they were looking for more staff. So they put me on the till and information point, which is funny because I don’t speak the language. Not only do they pay you in food, which is all I need, you get free entry to the festival and free beer. It’s a good way if your touring to get a free meal. The variety of people I met there was extraordinary. A few hours of laid back Dutch-style work and we finished the night off with some beers at the nearby club, WORM.
